Good morning everyone, its my pleasure to be here and talk about dreams and ambitions with you. When I was a primary school student I wrote in my composition that I want to be a scientist when I grow up. At that age I didnt know what is a scientist, nor did I know what is dream. I wrote it because its a standard answer for a composition test. And I know if I wrote that I want to be a peasant I would be criticized and laughed at, no matter what reason I gave it. But now in university, one of my classmates changed my idea. At the career planning class when asked about our dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, " I want to be a peasant because I grow up in a peasant family and I love it." No laughter, no criticism, he was the only who winned a clapping.
It sets me thinking, which should be a mans dream? a scientist, or a peasant? Its not a simple question and my answer is both. This is exactly my understanding of this topic. Dreams are something we really want and are willing to try every effort to achieve, no matter how great or how small, no matter how others think, it depends on you.
Life is long, and we are just on the starting point. Finally well understand life is not just about making a living. Therere something much more important than money and material enjoyment, that is spiritual wealth, that is dream. Its the process of your pursuit of dream, the process when you are trying, when you are seeking, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again with your determination, hardwork, and perseverance that make you, build you, and help you to lead a worthy and significative life, whether youll achieve your dream or not, the result is not that important.

On the night of March 1, the 76th Annual Academy Awards was shown on television. After watching it, I had a dream, a sudden wish, that some day, I could receive an Oscar award, or a nomination, for a movie Ive made.
While I was schooling in Australia, my friends from school andI received a n assignment one day, "To make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice." At the time, the trend was based around the popular Matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice.
Because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. After my friends and I showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. We, especially I, were proud. We made a school-wide sensation.
From then on, I became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. I just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. I would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or
special effect was produced. I found everything I watched quite amazing. I sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. Their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies.
When I become little bit older, I would like to attend a movie academy in Beijing or Shanghai, then America, or England, after some training and experience, I would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. If I am lucky, I hope I would get an Oscar Award for this movie. I think that would be quite a challenge, but it’s not impossible. For now, it’s back to watching movies over and over again for me!

I’m very glad to stand here to share my ideas with you. To begin with, I want to ask a question you dream a sweet dream last nightActually, Today I want to talk about dreams with you. Of course. What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream about life.
Steve Jobs dreams to create something that can change the world. He did it. Wright brothers dream to fly in the sky. They did it. Tyrone Bogues dreams to play basketball in NBA. He did it. You may find the truth easily that every great man always has a good dream. WhyWhy is a dream so important
Everyone has his own dream about life. Dreams are like the stars in the sky. We can never reach them. However, like most mariners, we need dreams to chart our course. We need dreams to support us. With a dream, we have a direction. With a direction, we will never be confused. With a dream, we have hope. With hope, we have the strength to fight.
Life is tough. There are always ups and downs. Maybe we fail on the way to our aims. But, the dream from the bottom of our heart can always comfort us, encourage us, and support us. In this way we have the strength to move on. Because there is nothing like a dream to build up our body and create the future. So remember your dream and never give up your dream easily.
Martin Luther King has a dream, and he changed America. So, ladies and gentlemen, today I hope you will remember that no matter whether it is happiness or suffering we will experience now, our future is always
here, waiting for us to paint beautiful pictures. What you need to do is just to believe yourself and stick to your dream. Because only if we hold our dreams, we can brighten our future.
